SKIING IN THE REGION

1. BAQUEIRA BERET

   Espot is a paradise for ski lovers. Just a 5-minute drive from our hotel is the Espot Ski resort, ideal for families and skiers of all levels. This resort has 25 skiable kilometres distributed over 22 slopes, many of which are specially adapted for beginners and children. In addition, its family and quiet atmosphere makes it a perfect option for those looking for comfort and security, with a perfect playground for the little ones, you can go up to the 2000 level for 7.50 euros. 2. BAQUEIRA BERET

   If you're looking for a more challenging experience, Baqueira Beret is just a 30-minute drive away and is known for its excellent slopes and high-quality amenities. With more than 160 skiable kilometres spread over three areas (Baqueira, Beret and Bonaigua), this resort offers a wide variety of slopes for all levels, as well as snowparks and off-piste areas for the more adventurous. Although the prices of ski passes are higher, the modern facilities, gourmet restaurants and luxury services make the investment worthwhile. It is the ideal choice for experienced skiers or those looking for a premium experience.

3. PORT AINE

   Another excellent option nearby is Port Aïné, located about 40 minutes away by car. This resort, with a maximum altitude of 2,440 meters, is very popular with families thanks to its focus on beginner comfort and safety. It offers 30 skiable kilometres spread over 25 slopes, as well as a snowpark and special areas for children. The prices of the ski passes are affordable, and the resort has additional services such as equipment rental and ski schools. In addition, its spectacular panoramic views make every visit memorable.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL

For the rental of equipment I recommend the SKI ROYA located before the slopes, in the first building on the left. Ask for the discount at reception. It is usually approximately 19 euros for 1 day of material.

NATIONAL PARK AND HIKING

Espot is the gateway to the Aigüestortes and Sant Maurici Lake National Park, an emblematic place for hiking and nature lovers. This year-round park offers routes of varying levels of difficulty, from leisurely walks to more challenging hikes.

For those wishing to explore the most remote and spectacular areas of the park, the 4x4 taxi service is available all year round (11.50 euros per person round trip). These vehicles will take you to route starting points that would otherwise be inaccessible. It's a convenient and efficient way to immerse yourself in the park's natural beauty.

When snow covers the trails, snowshoeing becomes a wonderful way to explore the winter landscape. So you can discover the magic of the snowy park at no extra cost! This activity is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, making it ideal to enjoy with family or friends. I ALWAYS RECOMMEND TALKING TO THE PARK'S TOURIST INFORMATION, just in front of the HOTEL. They rent rackets and granpones.
